Kia Sedan Comparison
Which Kia Sedan Is Right for You?
At Kia Santa Maria, we have three incredible sedans to choose from, whether you are a solo commuter or looking for your next family vehicle. The Kia sedan lineup includes the Kia K4, K5, and outgoing Kia Forte. All three offer modern amenities and efficient engine options. Check them out today when you schedule a test drive around Santa Maria, CA.
Kia K4
The Kia K4 is a new compact sedan that is replacing the Kia Forte in the lineup. Compact sedans are excellent for commuting and tackling driving requirements while reducing your carbon footprint and easily maneuvering busy streets and parking lots. The Kia K4 is sleek, stylish, and full of modern appeal. Two power levels are possible, including the standard 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (the same as the outgoing Kia Forte). However, the exciting GT-Line Turbo trim comes with a serious power kick, with a 190-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine option.
Kia K5
The Kia K5 is the largest sedan in the Kia lineup, perfectly suitable for families who don't need a ton of cargo space. The Kia K5 is daringly athletic, offering a dynamic driving experience that matches its sleek and stunning good looks. Where the maximum output for the K4 rests at 190 horsepower, the K5 starts there and goes up to 290 horsepower with the upgraded 2.5-liter four-cylinder upgrade and optional all-wheel drive. Drivers and passengers will love the enhanced finishes like wood trim and upscale options like ambient interior lighting, among others.
Kia Forte
The outgoing Kia Forte is a compact sedan that offers an efficient 147-horsepower four-cylinder engine, which carries over to the new Kia K4. The tech seems outdated compared to the newer K4 and K5. Rather than the stunning 12.3-inch dual displays with infotainment and digital driver's information screens, the Kia Forte has a smaller separate infotainment touchscreen, with the largest option being a 10.3-inch display. However, it does offer modern staples like wireless Apple CarPlay© and Android Auto™.
